Book your FREE 30-Minute Introductory Session Today
Here’s a brief outline of what we'll cover in your FREE no-obligation 30-minute session:
Help clarify what’s bringing you to therapy: that could be making sense of past trauma or exploring how your past shows up in your life today
Make sure it's a good fit: you can ask questions, get a feel for my approach, and take the first step toward support
Discuss where you’d like to get to: you can share your hopes for therapy, and if you’re not sure what your goals are yet, that’s fine, we’ll define these together
This free introduction takes place online.

Does This Sound Familiar?
Whether or not you personally use the term "trauma", you might feel or wonder if you’re carrying elements of pain and difficulty from your past. Below are some of the common issues people seek help for. If any of these sound like you, click the link below to book your free 30-minute introductory session.
You feel unable to set boundaries, and end up people-pleasing, resentful, or emotionally exhausted
You reach burnout because you often prioritise everyone else’s needs above your own, either at home or work
Saying “yes” when you really want to say “no”, often because you worry about conflict or disappointing people
Carrying relationship patterns from earlier experiences that show up as overgiving, shutdown, or avoidance
Feeling like you’re living in a constant state of alertness or restlessness, even when nothing seems immediately wrong
Losing confidence in your own judgement and deferring to others or second-guessing yourself

My Therapeutic Approach

An Approach That's Tailored to You
I’m trained as an “integrative” psychotherapist. That’s therapy-speak for training in multiple tools and approaches. We can tailor the approach to your needs and preferences, and we’re never pigeon-holed into one way of doing things. We can also change tack or introduce new concepts as we progress. Clients find it flexible and personalised.
We’ll blend talking therapy with body-based tools to help you understand your physical responses and steady your nervous system. We’ll do work that supports both mind and body, especially focused on where stress shows up as tension, shutdown, anxiety, or overwhelm.
Empathy for you is central to everything we’ll do. I want you to feel understood for who you are, so you can feel comfortable being yourself.
We’ll also use tools to help you understand the many parts of yourself that play a role in shaping how you behave, so you can begin to choose what is serving you and what is not.
What Makes This Different
Fast booking: get started straight away. No long waiting list, no delay to getting started.
1-hour sessions ensure you get your money's worth: most therapists only offer 50-minute sessions, but with the full hour, we have time and space to give you the attention you deserve.
Tailed service: no cookie-cutter process like you find with the big online therapy services.
Get to the root: we value long-term work to address the root causes. Not limited to your typical NHS 6-session package.
Highly personalised: multi-disciplinary training allows us to use tools that are right for you, and to use the right approaches at the right stage in your therapy.
Issues I Can Help You With
These are some of the common reasons people come to see me with:

How it Works
1
Book Your Free 30-Minute Introductory Session
A relaxed, confidential conversation where we’ll talk about what is bringing you to therapy, what you want to work on, and how I can support you.
2
Complete Your Assessment Session
In this first paid therapy session, we’ll start to map your history, your current challenges, and the areas you want to transform. This gives us a clear direction for your therapy.

Meet Your Therapist
Hi there,
I’m Harriet, thanks for looking into therapy with me.
Are you ready to start a journey towards healing, confidence and calm? Here’s a quick summary of what you might like to know about me:
Ready to help you: my focus is helping adults who appear to be coping on the outside but feel something very different inside. Many of my clients have spent years navigating unresolved trauma, burnout, or relationship patterns that repeat no matter how hard they try to change.
Qualified and registered: I'm fully qualified, holding a Princes Trust Level 5 diploma in psychotherapeutic counselling practice, and I am a registered and accredited member of my governing body, the National counselling and Psychotherapy Society (NCPS).
Experienced: I have helped a broad range of people suffering from the effects of past trauma, including survivors of abuse and neurodivergent clients, equipping me to support you.
Bespoke therapy: my approach is empathetic, warm and adaptable. I use my multidisciplinary training to combine person centered therapy, with parts-work and body-based tools, so you can feel comfortable in session, understand yourself more deeply and feel more empowered in your relationships and life.
My aim is to leave all my clients feeling stronger, clearer and more grounded than when they began. When you’re ready, book your intro session to get started.
